The 2023 World Conference on Clean Energy Equipment (WCCEE 2023) was held in Deyang, Southwest China's Sichuan province, from August 26 to 28. Zhou Kaiquan, deputy general manager of Sinomach, delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony and attended the signing ceremony of the "Consensus on Global Clean Energy Equipment Industry Opening and Cooperation".

Zhou also introduced the important role that Sinomach plays in promoting energy transition and realizing carbon peaking and neutrality before the opening ceremony.

At this year's conference, Sinomach organized its subsidiaries to show the company's equipment, products, technologies and services in several areas as well as its achievements in developing clean energy equipment.

Sinomach works with its subsidiaries on technological R&D and services, advanced equipment manufacturing and project contracting.

Sinomach Heavy Equipment Group showcased models of large world-class and thermal power forging presses and those of vital casting and forging parts for hydroelectric generating sets, which are self-designed, self-manufactured and self-installed.

Sinomach also displayed its new generation of UHD tunneling robots with high-performing electromagnetic holographic sensors, which ensure safe and efficient energy transportation.

SUMEC Group unveiled products of PV modules developed by its own brand, Phono Solar.

The Digital Twin-based virtual production system introduced by SIPPR Engineering Group realizes verification and optimization of virtual production, long-distance instruction, operation and maintenance.

The online oil monitoring system developed by SINOMACH Intelligence Technology Co Ltd has improved enterprises’ reliability and intelligent production

The China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute proved its strong automatic testing ability which provides one-stop service for relevant products through the whole value chain.

BOOSTING DEVELOPMENT OF GLOBAL CLEAN ENERGY INDUSTRY

One of the first enterprises to go global, Sinomach has 363 overseas offices in 102 countries and regions.

Sinomach has brought forth a lot of clean energy-based power generation projects. For instance, the Cambodian Tatay Hydropower Station is a first-level hydropower station invested and constructed by Sinomach in BOT mode. Since its operation, the annual power generation of the power station has exceeded the planned 850 million kilowatt-hours, and has reduced carbon emissions by 5.5 million tons.

The Al Dhafra PV power station constructed by China Machinery Engineering Corporation, the worlds’ largest single solar power station, helps to reduce carbon emissions by 2.4 million tons in Abu Dhabi every year.

Sinomach Finance Leasing showed its demonstration project on the integration of intelligent energy industry which promoted green high-quality development.

An EPC project, a resource recycling center contracted by China United Engineering Corporation Limited, was also unveiled at the conference. The center is designed to sort 200,000 tons of renewable resources per year.

SIPPR Engineering Group Co Ltd exhibited its energy-saving reform and intelligence upgrading projects, which are expected to save 35,000 kilowatt-hours for enterprises each year.

In addition to exhibitions, Sinomach also took an active part in seminars, forums and workshops to exchange opinions and inked many cooperative projects on clean energy equipment.
